Software Architect (m/f)
It is your task to plan and implement software projects in the data mining and
data visualisation areas in a Unix environment. You will be closely cooperating with
bio-computer specialists, mathematicians and biologists on planning, specifications
and designs, and evaluating the technologies and tools used for their realisation.
You have already gathered experience in implementing software development
projects in C++ (Java) and developed skills in the area of object-oriented design,
ideally with additional experience in software engineering, quality control, OLAP
and Corba.
Software Developer (m/f)
The tasks facing you comprise the development of our data mining and data visualisation
software in a Unix environment. Experience with object-oriented programming (C++, Java)
is a must. You will also be responsible for the design and production of user interfaces
with Qt (Cross Platform).
You've already acquired the requisite know-how in the design and production of
GUI's using Qt and ideally are also familiar with Cross Platform development.
You are interested in visualising complex data, are creative and can work well
in a team.
Data base expert (m/f)
Your area of responsibility comprises the design and realisation of data base structures
and interfaces to create structure in a whole range of biological data.
You have certainly gathered practical experience in complex data base projects and
ideally have also dealt with data mining, OLAP, and various DBMS. XML / OO programming
skills would be an advantage. You value interdisciplinary cooperation with natural
scientists and already know the basic concepts in microbiology or would be prepared
to acquire them.
