Applied BioinformaticsApplied Bioinformatics The recent development of new biomolecular technologies has enabled researchers to tackle the analysis of complex diseases. These new ‘Omics’ technologies like Transcriptomics, Proteomics or Metabolomics generate large amounts of data, demanding new effective solutions for data extraction and data processing. MicroDiscovery meets this challenge and provides powerful software modules (e.g. GeneSpotter, KinetXpert) and databases for this purpose, reflecting our long lasting experience in handling all types of high-throughput data. The goal of MicroDiscovery’s systems biology activities is to gain relevant knowledge on biological processes that are important for human health. For these tasks, the development of novel modelling techniques and data integration methods are the foundation of MicroDiscovery’s Systems biology research. Read more:
