Dr. Arif Malik
Dr. Malik is in charge of the company’s strategic direction and is responsible for Business Development. Prior to founding MicroDiscovery, he headed an international trading company and worked as a bioinformatics scientist at Benjamin Franklin University Clinic and Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin. Dr. Malik holds master degrees in computer science as well as biology and obtained a PhD in biology from the Free University of Berlin.
Dr. Dieter Beule
Dr. Beule leads our teams in software development and bioinformatics services. As an expert in quality management for medical software products, he monitors the advancement of our certification. Dr. Beule studied physics in Freiburg, Sussex and Berlin and obtained his PhD from the Humboldt University in Berlin. Prior to founding MicroDiscovery, he worked on interdisciplinary simulation and biomedical data analysis projects at the Technical University and Humboldt University in Berlin.
Dr. Johannes Schuchhardt
Dr. Schuchhardt is in charge of MicroDiscovery’s research activities and is coordinator of several international research projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Dr. Schuchhardt holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Kiel and is author of over 30 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals. Before founding MicroDiscovery, Dr. Schuchhardt coordinated bioinformatics research projects at Benjamin Franklin University Clinic and at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
